WHEN Alan Ferguson first started seeing UFOs a decade ago it blew his mind. He’d be outside for four hours every night, excitedly filming and taking photos.
These days, he doesn’t go out of his way. It’s not like they bore him – alien craft are often amazingly beautiful, he says – but he’s seen hundreds, and he’s tired of telling people and not being taken seriously. Now he goes outside to do his astronomy, and if he happens to see a UFO too “it’s like kicking two goals at once”, he laughs.
